The 34th edition of IMAGE+NATION will take place both online and in cinemas from November 18th to 28th.
Due to circumstances beyond our control Cinéma Impérial is temporarily closed and we will be relocating our screenings to another venue. Stay tuned for more info… coming soon. The screenings will not be cancelled.

Yes. You can buy them at the cinema we will be screening films in (TBC due to the unforeseen circumstances of the closing of Cinéma Impérial), each day throughout the festival starting one hour before the first screening of the day.
Once you activate your film (start watching), you will have 72 hours to finish watching (or watch again).
All sales are final, non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Yes, starting at midnight the day of their in-cinema screening.
No. But you will need to select your films (virtual or live screening) by clicking “fulfill package” in your account after your purchase in order to access the film.
Once your ticket or pass bought, you will receive a confirmation email with all the instructions to access your online film. You will also get a reminder email one day before your film becomes available online so you don’t miss it.

As long as you are based in Quebec you have access to our virtual selection for the festival.
The vaccine passport is required for all sessions, we also enforce distancing a vacant seat between people from different residences and the wearing of a mask or face cover according to the rules in force. The venue is disinfected between screenings for your safety and according to sanitary protocol.
Unfortunately, screenings are not available outside of Québec, but you can access our online activities and discussions with filmmakers from anywhere in the world!
Yes, but movie rights do not allow you to watch movies on devices with iOS 14.8 to 15 software.
Yes, using a hdmi cable for a more traditional version.
And yes, if you have Apple TV or Roku (Gen 4 or above) you can download the Elevent TV app.

It is possible but if you choose to organize a screening with your friends we simply ask to make a gesture for the festival in the form of a donation if you can. Your support allows us to further develop activities for you and our filmmakers, as well, and importantly, help filmmakers with their future projects.
