Containing some of the hottest sex scenes this side of Red Square, You I Love is a dizzy romantic comedy that captures the exuberant spirit and slick style of a new generation of ultra-cool Muscovites. When lonely television newscaster Vera meets Tim, an attractive yet disaffected advertising executive, the pair quickly falls into a romance that is defined as much by their neuroses as their physical attraction. On the day of their first anniversary, a sign literally falls from the sky when Uloomji, a young Kalmyk boy, lands on the hood of Tim’s car. Tim takes the injured boy home but Vera doesn’t share his compassion. She is immediately suspicious of the young man while Tim is drawn to his free spirit and gentle warmth. The two men embark on a frenetic sexual relationship while Vera is left to fight for the man she loves. The story surges forward with sudden twists and unpredictable turns as each character is forced to examine what they really want and what they will have to sacrifice to get it. - SF
