During rehearsal for a high-school production of A Streetcar Named Desire, meek and mild lighting technician Ben secretly desires his classmate, the rebel without a pause Johnny. Ben offers to help Johnny with his lines, after being censured by their director. As they begin to negotiate public class and social realities privately, Tennessee Williams’ classic is reinterpreted by Ben and Johnny, as they pool their resources together.
